Experimental and Instrumentation Astronomy

ABOUT ME

Kushal_photo.jpeg

Hi,

I am an incoming PhD (STFC-funded) at Cardiff University. With Prof. Hartmut Grote and Prof. Katherine Dooley, I am developing quantum technologies for ultra-high precision interferometry and future gravitational wave detectors.

I completed my fourth-year B.Sc. Physics Honors from Ashoka University, India.

Though I find chalk and board cool, I prefer screwing things up. In other words, I enjoy experimentation and instrumentation.

I am the Founding Secretary of Ashoka's Astronomy Society. We organized India's first inter-university Radio Astronomy Conference in November 2023. I enjoy teaching, science communication, writing, and traveling.
